A MESSAGE FROM DAVID TRANT:
Lifeguarding is an important responsibility that teaches critical lifesaving skills and prepares individuals to protect others. While lifeguards help prevent emergencies, they cannot guarantee complete safety, which is why proper training matters. We only certify participants who demonstrate the skills needed to serve safely and confidently. Once certified, it is the aquatic facility’s responsibility to continue training through orientation and in-service practice. We take this responsibility - and the trust placed in Trant Training - very seriously.
This 3-Day course prepares participants to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies in and around the water. Instruction includes water and land rescue skills, CPR, AED use, and first aid for breathing and cardiac emergencies, and teaches participants to provide professional-level care until emergency responders arrive.
