Content To Be Updated SoonWhat to Expect in a Lifeguarding Class.
Most commom feedback particpants share in their feedback from, "I wish I beleive you when you told me this would be a demanding weekend.". Learning to lifeguard requires developing the physical skills to save a life from deep water. It is physically demanding requiring significant physical activity. It is requires learning important knowledge so it requires a cognitive load. Then at the end of class, we conduct a bunch of scenarios which require particpants to put everythign the learned into practice of a critical situation and make decisions. Come rested and prepared.
How to be Preparered? You want to wear comfortable warm clothes. We will be in the water often and for extended periods of time. Keeping yourself warm and hydrated is esential. Bring food and lots of snacks. Keeping your energy up will help with warmth, focus and energy.
Blended Learning Content must be completed before class. If it is not done before class you will be dismissed from class and only half of your payment will be reinbursed.
Prerequisite: Swims - Tread - Swim Sequence without Stopping then 90m sec weight recovery

Individuals who do not meet the above criteria will be offered 2 options: the first is a free slot in an upcoming lifeguarding class that is offered by Trant Training (not any class on the Red Cross Website) or a 50% refund.
