What is Blended Learning?

A standard lifeguarding class is a 27.5 hour class.  Blended Learning reduces class length to approximately 22 hours becasue particpants complete an online portion of the class BEFORE attending the in person poriton of the class.  The online course work coveres many lessons and content from the class and usually takes particpatns 3 -4 hours to complete.  It covers the writen exam for CPR for Professional Rescuers; however, you only get 2 attempts per day so please plan accordingly and complete the online portion a coiuple of days before class.  Upon completion, you will get a certificate of completion emailed to you.  Typically, I can see when participants have completed the online course work; but there are issues.  Please bring a print out of the completion record with you to class.
